The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic is pleased to announce Curtain Call, a new, project-based fundraiser, designed to support the cost of fabricating and installing a new curtain in our Grand Ballroom. The current drapery was installed in the early 1990s and was designed and fabricated by MTL Inc., located in Jessup, PA. We are excited to be working with MTL once again for this project, but substantial funds are needed to complete the design, fabrication and installation as well as upgrades to the operating tracks and mechanisms. Curtain Call aims to raise these much needed funds with a fun, innovative event hosted in the Grand Ballroom. Entertainment will be provided by Picture Perfect Band, Daddy-o and the Sax Maniax and Ken McGraw, with a special appearance by the extremely talented young performers of the SCC Youth Theatre Program. We’ll also host a silent auction while offering a delicious selection of heavy hors d’oeuvres from Constantino’s Catering and a premium open bar.

Adapted from the three-time-Tony-nominated Broadway hit comes A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS. Based on Arnold Lobel’s well-loved books, the jazzy, upbeat score bubbles with melody. Part vaudeville, part make-believe, and all charm, A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons. This whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog, and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. Throughout the year, two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special.

We are pleased to announce the return of Curtain Call, a project=based fundraiser designed to support the costs of upgrades and improvements to our theatre.
Curtain Call aims to raise these much needed funds with a fun, innovative event hosted in the Grand Ballroom. Entertainment will be provided by Daddy-O and the Sav Maniax, and Ken McGraw, with a special appearance by the extremely talented young performers of the SCC Youth Theatre Program.

Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a 30-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. The Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic is pleased to announce the return of Curtain Call, a project-based fundraiser that was introduced in 2023 to support the cost of fabricating an installing a new curtain in our Grand Ballroom, which was completely in late 2024.
Last year, Curtain Call raised much-needed funds for theatre restoration and improvement projects, including microphone and lighting upgrades, which largely benefitted our Youth Theatre Program. This year’s project will assist in funding the purchase and installation of a new, state-of-the-art sound system for the Weinberg Theatre.
This fun, innovative event hosted in our Grand Ballroom will feature live music and plenty of time to mix and mingle while offering a delicious selection of catered heavy hors d’oeuvre by Constantino’s Catering and a premium open bar.
