Calling all zombie dancers! It’s time to learn the Thriller dance for Thrill the World on October 28! In our two-hour dance classes, we’ll learn the entire dance from start to finish! All ages and experience levels are welcome.

(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heEFEOfAn4k) There are in-depth breakdowns of each section of choreography available so that anyone can learn the dance at any time, ANYWHERE – even at home. We will have a few opportunities to rehearse the dance before the official dance at 6 PM on October 29. Remember – Thrill the World is open to dancers of all skill levels. The most important thing is to HAVE FUN!

The event will be held OUTSIDE of the Scranton Cultural Center, located at 420 N. Washington Avenue in Scranton, PA. We will convene beginning at 5:00 PM. On the day of the event, participants are encouraged to come in their best zombie or Halloween inspired look, but it’s not required. You’ll check in with the SCC team (for reporting purposes) and we’ll have a few opportunities to practice the dance before the official world record attempt. The dance will be live-streamed on the Scranton Cultural Center Facebook page, so please encourage family and friends to cheer you on from home.

Please DO NOT bring into the building large bags, purses, backpacks, large umbrellas longer than 12″, outside food or drink.
Wristlets up to 4″ x 6″ x 1″ or Clear Bags up to 12″ x 12″ 6″ are permitted
Clear Bags may be checked for every event.

The Center is a SMOKE FREE facility. NO smoking materials, cigarettes, cigars, pipes, lighters, matches or other flammable items may be brought into the Center.
There is no Re-Entry upon Exit for most concert events.
Cameras and recording devices are prohibited.
