Global Tastes of Scranton: Congolese Women Share their Cuisine & Culture

Space is limited.  Registration closes on 10/14.
Some of our newest Scrantonians – members of the Congolese refugee community – will create a “pop-up restaurant” sharing their home cuisine and traditions.  Authentic Congolese fare will be served including traditional pondu and fufu along with whole fish and beef kabobs, plantains and beans.  The event will also include highlights of the culture of the Democratic Republic of Congo, with special music and dance performances, and information about the refugee crisis.
