Global Tastes of Scranton: April 7, 2019 – 5:00 PM
Share in the culture and cuisine of Bhutan and Nepal!
Some of the newer Scrantonians are members of the Bhutanese refugee community of Nepali origin. They will create a ”pop-up restaurant” sharing their home cuisine and traditions.
A sampling of authentic fare from Momo King and Nepali Kitchen in cooperation with Terra Preta Prime will be served, including momos, chawmin, samosas, and traditional datshi curry.
This event will also include highlights of Bhutanese-Nepali culture, with special music and performances. A cash bar will be available.
