 “the Menu,” hosted in the Grand Ballroom, features culinary creations prepared by local chefs throughout NEPA.  Many interesting and exciting topics will be covered like what to buy at the farmer’s market; tips for Holiday meals made easy or planning the perfect cocktail and cheese pairing for your next party!

“the Menu” will provide you with fresh and exciting ideas to try in your kitchen any night of the week as well as festive concepts for special occasions!  Come see what’s on “the Menu” – it’s certain to be local, fresh and most importantly…DELICIOUS!

Underground Microphone is NEPA’s premier LIVE performance series which features our region’s finest talent. Each week we bring you an exclusive up close and personal lineup of poetry, comedy, music and more!  Voted 2017’s Best New Event by readers of Electric City, Underground Microphone offers the unique experience that honors the Weekday Warrior!  Reward yourself with an evening out downtown or a quick drink and entertainment after work.

Located in the Lower Level, the Raymond Hood Room is transformed into a listening room café where artists and their work are respected and supported. This very special space is named after the architect who designed the Scranton Cultural Center in the 1920s. Hood is widely known for his Art Deco and Neo Gothic design style which is evident throughout the entire building. Nationally recognized works include 30 Rockefeller Plaza, American Radiator Building, Daily News, The Emporis, Tribune Tower and The Ocean Forest Hotel in Myrtle Beach among others.

Doors open at 5:00 PM and entertainment starts at 6:00 PM!
No Cover – Cash Bar for 21+ – Valid ID required
Exceptional Entertainment — Classic Atmosphere

Artists: For anyone interested in performing: there are no rules. We encourage free form prose, poetry, stand up, improv and original music. REGISTRATION and CASTING

Casting workshops for Beauty and the Beast will be held at the following times.

Students will be separated into two age divisions: K-3rd and 4th-12th.

 

Students should attend one of the following audition workshops for their age division:

Grades 4th- 12th:  Monday, January 8, 6-8:30PM

Grades 4th- 12th:  Tuesday, January 9, 6-8:30PM

Grades K- 3rd:  Wednesday, January 10, 6-7:30PM

 

PERFORMANCES DATES AND TIMES:

Friday, April 20th at 7PM
Saturday, April 21st at 11AM
Sunday, April 22nd at 2PM

Downloadable registration form and online registration form are available above. You can bring your completed registration to our offices, mail it in, or bring it with you to auditions!

the Menu will continue in 2018 with our friends from POSH at the Scranton Club and The Colonnade!  They’ll be preparing seasonal dishes that are sure to be fresh, local and delicious!  Mark your calendars for January 8 and plan to join us!  Doors open at 6:00 PM for cocktails and the show begins at 7:00 PM.  Tickets are $12 and are available at the Fidelity Bank Box Office in advance or at the door.  This is the perfect opportunity for the foodie in your life to try new dishes, learn tips and tricks and so much more – so they’d make a great gift or stocking stuffer as well!
