It is the mission of The Scranton Cultural Center’s Youth Theatre Program to provide a quality education in the creative and performing arts to young children and teens in an environment that honors achievement, creativity and personal growth. Our goal is to nurture and inspire a lifelong love and appreciation of the creative and performing arts by engaging youth in enriching theatrical opportunities. The SCC offers opportunities for local children to participate in Fall and Spring theatrical productions as well as our performing arts summer camp program.

To Oz? To Oz! We’re off to see the Wizard! From auditions and casting, to rehearsing choreography, music and scenes, our SummerStage campers will do it all! In addition, campers will help build set pieces and props, and select costume pieces to be used in the show! They’ll be joined by the Little Dragon campers to perform this grand finale of our 2016 Summer Camp.
