We will continue where we left off in June, presenting as a virtual live stream on our Facebook page (facebook.com/sccmt) from the Raymond Hood Room located in the Lower Level. Once restrictions are lifted, and we know it’s safe, we’ll reopen the doors to our live audience. So, for now, UGM will remain a virtual live stream played for an online audience only. We’ll keep you all posted as things change.
To learn more about the Scranton Cultural Center, visit SCCMT.org or follow us on Facebook at facebook.com/sccmt.
As always, there is no cover to enjoy the entertainment at Underground Mic, whether it’s in person or virtual. But, we ask that you might consider making a donation in support of the Scranton Cultural Center. If you’re a UGM regular, maybe you might consider donating the cost of your favorite beverage. If you’re new to UGM and tuning in because you’re missing the live music scene, consider making a donation in the amount of what you might pay at the door at your favorite live music venue. If you’re not in a position to make a donation, just enjoy the show!
Any amount helps and will enable us to continue offering virtual programming, like this, while we are closed due to government restrictions and once we are given the green light to welcome you safely back to our facility again.
We thank you for your consideration!

Free Outdoor Summer Concert
featuring
Young Lion
All current CDC Guidelines will be followed.
ABOUT YOUNG LION
Young Lion began playing together for Sarah Street Grill’s George Wesley Tribute Night in December 2016 in Stroudsburg, PA. Chris Condel and Lion Sanford were George’s bandmates, and Jamie Zaleski (of the Southside Bandits) fronted the band for most of the tribute night. They decided to keep working together, and have since added Angelo Miraglia on keyboards to round out their sound.
Young Lion’s blend of roots, rock, and reggae is accomplished by the different playing styles and experience of its members. Young Lion live performances include improvisation on their songs to provide listeners with a fresh experience every time you hear them perform.
ABOUT OUR FREE OUTDOOR SUMMER CONCERTS
We’re so excited to announce that we’re hosting a series of FREE Outdoor Summer Concerts at the Scranton Cultural Center this summer! It’s been a long time since we have been able to welcome patrons to our facility, and we are so excited to have you back to enjoy music from Young Lion, Erin Malloy & Friends, The Dishonest Fiddlers and Blind Choice!
These concerts are free and open to the public, and will take place outside at the Scranton Cultural Center. A cash bar with light fare will be available. All current CDC guidelines will be followed, and any updates will be shared with you via our social media channels!
Live entertainment is BACK and we’re so excited to share it with you, so mark your calendars!
