proud to present the Third Annual Steamtown String Fling on Friday, March 27 at 7:00 PM! This year’s show features cherry-picked regional bluegrass and folk- Americana players, now back from touring national festivals. Don't miss this high-energy night of acoustic music in the Electric City!

David Sedaris Lecture Postponed
New Date Will Be Announced Later
The Lackawanna County Library System’s American Masters Lecture featuring David Sedaris, originally scheduled for Monday, April 6, has been canceled due to concerns about the coronavirus, according to an announcement by Mary Garm, director of the Library System.
The lecture in Scranton by Mr. Sedaris was part of a 40-city lecture tour the author and humorist had planned. The entire tour has been placed on hold, Mrs. Garm said.
It will be rescheduled a new date for the lecture will be announced later, she added

The 20th Annual Evening of Fine Food and Wine scheduled for April 19, 2020 has been postponed. The Scranton Cultural Center is working with our partners to reschedule. Once a new date is
finalized, the ticket procedures and policies will be announced.
