It is the mission of The Scranton Cultural Center’s Youth Theatre Program to provide a quality education in the creative and performing arts to young children and teens in an environment that honors achievement, creativity and personal growth. Our goal is to nurture and inspire a lifelong love and appreciation of the creative and performing arts by engaging youth in enriching theatrical opportunities. The SCC offers opportunities for local children to participate in Fall and Spring theatrical productions as well as our performing arts summer camp program.

Flynn Lackawanna County Library Lecture Series. Piper will be speaking at the Scranton Cultural Center on Tuesday, July 19 at 7 PM.

Then, they’ll collaborate with our friends at the Everhart Museum to turn their show into a one-of-a-kind, illustrated storybook which will be published by the Scranton Public Library and added to their circulation! As an added bonus, campers will have the opportunity to perform at the 2016 Arts on the Square festival in downtown Scranton!
