Originally h ailing from San Francisco\, Caitlin Peluffo is a stand up comedian living in New York City. This lovable loose cannon made her network television de but on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert\, was featured on the Late Late Show with James Corden\, and has been seen on NBC Seeso’s “New York’s Funn iest” as well as Comedy Central’s ‘Featuring’ series.’ She was named a 202 2 Just for Laughs New Face and appeared on JFL Network. She opens regularl y for Matteo Lane and Fortune Feimster. Peluffo is a regular in the NYC co medy scene performing in clubs like The Comedy Cellar\, New York Comedy Cl ub\, Gotham Comedy Club\, Stand Up NY\, and was recently featured in the C aroline’s on Broadway Breakout Artist Series. She has performed in festiva ls across the country like the Limestone Comedy Festival\, Brooklyn Comedy Festival\, Laughing Skull Comedy Festival\, Laugh Your Asheville Off\, Ac cidental Comedy Festival\, All Jane Comedy Festival\, Women in Comedy Fest ival\, Maine Comedy Festival\, and was runner up in the Big Sky\, Finger L akes\, San Diego\, and the Stand Up NY Comedy Competitions. For the past 2 years she’s hosted her weekly podcast\, Good Time Gal with Caitlin Peluff o\, she performed in San Francisco’s Sketchiest in the Audible’s Fresh Voi ces Showcase and was featured on both Sirius XM’s “Raw Dog” and Audible’s “Punchlines.”

Rodney Carrington is a mult i-talented comedian\, actor\, singer and writer playing sold-out shows aro und the world as one of the top 10 highest-grossing touring comedians for the past two decades.
\nA platinum-recording artist\, Rodney’s recor ded eight major record label comedy albums\, followed by three albums on h is own record label\, Laughter’s Good Records. Rodney is fresh off the rel ease of his latest album\, “Get Em Out\,” (released 2019) which hit #1 on iTunes. \nWHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? is 90 minutes of hilarious improvised c omedy and song all based on audience suggestions. Cast members Greg Proops \, Jeff B. Davis\, Ryan Stiles\, and Joel Murray will leave you gasping wi th the very witty scenes they invent before your eyes. Audience participat ion is key to the show\, so bring your suggestions and you might be asked to join the cast onstage!
\nThis particular style of improvisational comedy is rife with countless gags\, one-liners\, hilarious games and eve n songs so good you will hardly believe they were made up on the spot. The teamwork and trust that it takes to perform a show with no script is appa rent\, but when the best of the best do it\, they do it effortlessly. Watc h them build entire scenes\, characters\, and storylines right before your eyes as they take you on a white-knuckle ride through endless chuckles.\n
Ryan Stiles’ television credits include roles on “The Drew Carey Sh ow” and “Two and a Half Men\,” while Greg Proops has lent his vocal talent s to animated characters in Star Wars: Episode 1\, The Nightmare Before Ch ristmas\, and Brother Bear. However\, both got their start as comedians an d are excited to return to their funny-bone-tickling roots.

I met “Doc” Kupka back in 1968\, and gave him an audition. He came in the band\, and we eventually changed our name to the Tower of Power.” The reason for the band name change was that they had a specific goal in mind.\n“We wanted to get into the Fillmore Au ditorium and with a name like the Motowns\, dressed in suits with razor cu ts\, we knew we’d never get in there. We grew our hair long\, and started to be hippies\, and changed our name. Doc then suggested that we start wri ting our own songs.”\nThe Fillmore was a major goal\, which came along at the right time. “We had been playing nightclubs\, and we had gotten busted for being underage. One night\, the ABC came in\, and caught the trumpet player drinking\, and the next thing we knew\, a notice was out across the Bay Area that if they hired us again\, clubs would lose their liquor lice nse. Then\, my parents moved to Detroit\, and I was on my own\, broke and hungry\, and all I did was rehearse. We wrote the songs for East Bay Greas e\, and by November\, we were at the end of our rope. I told the guys that I was leaving for the holidays\, and if nothing happened with this auditi on\, I wasn’t coming back.”\nFortunately\, he did\, and the rest as they s ay\, is history.\nEast Bay Grease defined their sound and landed them with Warner Brothers. Bump City\, their 1972 debut for the label\, was a hit o n both the Billboard 200 and the R&B Albums chart\, and netted them the hi ts “You’re Still A Young Man” and “Down to The Nightclub.” The 70s were a boom period with radio classics like “So Very Hard to Go” and “What Is Hip ?\,” and the band continued to tour and record over the years. Castillo sa ys their love of the stage is the same today as it was back in 1968.\n50 y ears later\, in 2018\, they returned to Oakland to celebrate their landmar k 50th anniversary. For 55 years\, Tower of Power has delivered the best in funk and soul music.“We were a Soul band called The Motowns.” recalls Emilio Castillo. “Rocco was the bass player\, I was in there\, and my brother was the drumm er. I met “Doc” Kupka back in 1968\, and gave him an audition. He came in the band\, and we eventually changed our name to the Tower of Power.” The reason for the band name change was that they had a specific goal in mind.
\n“We wanted to get into the Fillmore Auditorium and with a name li
ke the Motowns\, dressed in suits with razor cuts\, we knew we’d never get
in there. We grew our hair long\, and started to be hippies\, and changed
our name. Doc then suggested that we start writing our own songs.”
\nThe Fillmore was a major goal\, which came along at the right time. “We
had been playing nightclubs\, and we had gotten busted for being underage.
One night\, the ABC came in\, and caught the trumpet player drinking\, an
d the next thing we knew\, a notice was out across the Bay Area that if th
ey hired us again\, clubs would lose their liquor license. Then\, my paren
ts moved to Detroit\, and I was on my own\, broke and hungry\, and all I d
id was rehearse. We wrote the songs for East Bay Grease\, and by November\
, we were at the end of our rope. I told the guys that I was leaving for t
he holidays\, and if nothing happened with this audition\, I wasn’t coming
back.”
Fortunately\, he did\, and the rest as they say\, is histo ry.
\nEast Bay Grease defined their sound and landed them with Warne r Brothers. Bump City\, their 1972 debut for the label\, was a hit on both the Billboard 200 and the R&B Albums chart\, and netted them the hits “Yo u’re Still A Young Man” and “Down to The Nightclub.” The 70s were a boom p eriod with radio classics like “So Very Hard to Go” and “What Is Hip?\,” a nd the band continued to tour and record over the years. Castillo says the ir love of the stage is the same today as it was back in 1968.
\n50 years later\, in 2018\, they returned to Oakland to celebrate their landma rk 50th anniversary.
