Jason Helman is a recent transplant to the Scranton Cultural Center and is very proud to be involved with such an important part of Scranton's arts community housed in the beautiful Scottish Rite Temple. Jason moved here in 2008 from State College, PA and his involvement with the newly renovated, rebirthed and successful State Theatre performing arts center. He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of the Arts in Theatre Arts, with a concentration in management. He was also involved with the professional summerstock theatre, Millbrook Playhouse, in central Pennsylvania as their Company Manager, Box Office Manager and a performer for seven years. Currently Jason works as the Box Office Manager for the Scranton Cultural Center overseeing ticket sales and working with the various promoters and artists who frequent our venue. He also serves as the Marketing Director for the Nittany Valley Shakespeare Festival and is on their advisory board. He is also an advisory board member to the newly formed Vintage Theatre venue in the Ritz Building on Wyoming Avenue which opened in January of 2009.
