Tennessee multi-genre phenomenon\, J
elly Roll\, explores themes of addiction\, pain\, and struggling
in his various styles that range from Southern rock\, hints of R&B\, acous
tic country\, and hardcore rap.
\n
Born and raised in Nashville’s Ant
ioch neighborhood\, Jelly Roll released his album Ballads of the Broken in
2021\, ahead of his sold-out hometown show at the famous Ryman Auditorium
\, which sold out in under an hour. The introspective 10-track album shows
Jelly Roll’s growth as an artist and man\, drawing from his personal expe
riences to tell the story of a man who has been through the ringer and isn
’t afraid to share his raw truth\, featuring his multi-week No. 1 Rock hit
“Dead Man Walking” and his No. 1 Country debut single “Son of a Sinner.”<
/p>\n
Jelly Roll recently announced the name\, date\, a
nd album cover of his highly-anticipated new album\, WHITSITT
CHAPEL\, arriving June 2nd. Titl
ed after the church the Antioch-native grew up attending\, the debut full-
length Country project on BMG/Stoney Creek Records features 13 tracks\, in
cluding his current single\, “Need A Favor\,” which dicta
tes “the internal fight between faith and vices” (American Songwriter<
/em>). Jelly Roll teased the announcement with images of Whitsitt Chapel’s
outdoor sign featuring song lyrics from current and not-yet-released trac
ks on the album. Additional track list information will be announced at a
later date.
\n
“This album is about growth and gratitude happening in
my life. I wanted to create a project that felt hopeful. I believe the wo
rst feeling a person can have is feeling hopeless or worthless. This is th
erapeutic music. Real music for real people with real problems\,” Jelly Ro
ll shared.
\n
The announcement comes on the heels of a massive\, hist
ory-making year for Jelly Roll\, including selling out his hometown venue
– Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena – for more than 16\,000 fans\, making his
Grand Ole Opry debut\, scoring his first Country radio No. 1 and a two-wee
k Rock No. 1\, and topping Billboard’s Emerging Artist chart for
an astounding 25 straight weeks. Jelly’s run marked the longest reign ever
to date\, for any artist\, on the chart.
\n
Additionally\, the Antio
ch native was named to CRS New Faces at the 2023 Country Radio Seminar\, a
nd announced his upcoming 44 date Backroad Baptism Tour\, which will kick
off this July. Having “cemented his rising mainstream stardom” (Ten
nessean)\, Jelly Roll continues to break records\, independently
building his fan base and amassing more than 4 Billion collective career s
treams to date. Jelly Roll became the first act this decade to top the Roc
k charts while simultaneously having a Top 30 song on Country radio with h
is #1 hit\, “Son Of A Sinner\,” and he is the first artist in Billboar
d history to do so with debut singles. For more information on Jelly
Roll\, his upcoming album WHITSITT CHAPEL\, or his upcoming Backr
oad Baptism Tour\, visit Jellyroll615.

Brett Young has captured the hearts
of fans everywhere through his honest lyrics and West Coast-meets-Southern
sound\, aptly dubbed “Caliville” style. With an undeniable string of seve
n No. 1s – “In Case You Didn’t Know” (5X PLATINUM)\, “Mercy” (3X PLATINUM)
\, “Sleep Without You” (PLATINUM)\, “Like I Loved You” (PLATINUM)\, “Here
Tonight” (PLATINUM)\, “Catch” (PLATINUM) and “Lady” (PLATINUM) – and two a
lbums defined by a transcendent romantic spark\, he has cemented his statu
s as Country’s master over matters of the heart. The star broadened his em
otional scope on WEEKENDS LOOK A LITTLE DIFFERENT THESE DAYS\, out now alo
ng with an acoustic version via BMLG Records. The project features his cur
rent single “You Didn’t” and “Lady\,” whose lyrics inspired Young’s debut
children’s book LOVE YOU\, LITTLE LADY\, published by Tommy Nelson (an imp
rint by HarperCollins). He is also featured on Ashley Cooke’s “Never Til N
ow” and Riley Clemmons’ “Godsend.” Young previously debuted atop the Billb
oard Country Albums chart with his GOLD-certified TICKET TO L.A. while his
PLATINUM self-titled debut dominated the Top 20 on the Country Albums cha
rt for 37 weeks\, all contributing to over 5.5 billion global streams. You
ng was named ASCAP’s 2018 Country Songwriter-Artist of the Year for his “m
elodic craftmanship” (Billboard) and has also garnered nominations from AC
M\, Billboard\, Teen Choice\, CMT and CMA Awards as he continues to rack u
p nonstop hits as “one of country’s most consistent radio stars” (Rolling
Stone). Alongside Shay Mooney and Bear Rinehart\, Young also penned “Long
Way Home (From The Motion Picture ‘Father Stu’)\,” a new song featured in
the Sony Pictures film starring Academy Award Nominee Mark Wahlberg.
Over the yea
rs\, Craig Morgan has come to think of his career like a house\, hand buil
t over time and resting on a firm foundation. Faithful Christian. Dedicate
d family man. Distinguished veteran of the US Army. Those are the pillars
that have allowed the chart-topping singer\, songwriter and live performer
to add room after room to his house – now more like a sprawling mansion.
But with God\, Family\, Country\, his 2020 album for Broken Bow R
ecords\, the Nashville native admits it felt like he was putting on the fi
nal touches.
\n
Marking his ninth studio set\, God\, Family\, Cou
ntry combined five new songs with some of the most powerful tracks of
his career\, including hits “That’s What I Love About Sunday\,” “Almost H
ome\,” and more. It was an album of contrast\, both created in the moment
and capturing a bigger picture\, with Craig stepping back to consider the
“what” and “why” of his creation. But in becoming “one of the most special
records I’ve ever done\,” it was ultimately far more than a craftsman che
cking his work. It inspired a whole new addition
\n
Now\, the hitmake
r behind “Redneck Yacht Club\,” “International Harvester” and “Little Bit
of Life” has expanded his God\, Family\, Country chapter\, adding a new DeluxeEdition to the album\, a gripping
\, best-selling memoir and more. The blueprints are back on the table – an
d this time they include more personal touches than ever.
\n
“I feel
so good\,” Craig says. “Career wise\, family wise\, my heart\, my soul\, m
y spirit\, my faith\, all those things are good – unbelievable\, really. E
very time I think I’m about ready to start slowing down\, God throws a wre
nch in it and it gets me right back in the middle.”
\n
Call it a rena
issance if you want\, but Craig today continues to evolve from the guy who
released country-radio classics like the four-week chart-topper\, “That’s
What I Love About Sunday” – Billboard’s Number One country singl
e of 2005. He still has an unquenchable spirit and joy for life\, but he a
nd his family have also known great loss with the passing of their son Jer
ry in 2016. Instead of snuffing out Craig’s artistry\, however\, that unim
aginable tragedy led to him writing his most personal and emotional song t
o date\, “The Father\, My Son and the Holy Ghost\,” released in 2019.
\n
The aching ballad topped the iTunes all-genre sales chart and led dir
ectly to this new career chapter\, becoming the centerpiece of God\, F
amily\, Country and the inspiration to go further. Released on Veter
an’s Day (November 11)\, God\, Family\, Country (Deluxe Edition)
adds four new songs to what was already a deeply personal project\, three
of which he wrote.
\n
“Ask Him” arrives as a head-over-heels romantic
stunner with long-lasting devotion. “I May Drink a Little\,” finds a man
of faith maintaining his beliefs\, even though he’s not perfect. And “Soun
ds Like Home\,” features a sentimental front-porch sway that could be the
soundtrack to a picturesque country sunset.
\n
Mixing old-school grit
with a modern country pulse\, it’s a tune for the times\, which resonated
with the star right away.
\n
“It’s a societal story\,” Craig says. “
It’s what’s going on in our world. This song talks about how ‘you run\, yo
u crawl\, you rise\, you fall\, you hit your knees until you learn to stan
d. That’s how you make a man.’ This is how we each become better as humans
.”
\n
It’s also 100-percent country\, and the guiding principle Craig
has followed like a North Star his whole career. God\, Family\, Count
ry (Deluxe Edition) just puts it all in one place.
\n
“This albu
m is based on everything that’s happened in my life and my career\,” he sa
ys. “I feel like I have some of the most quality songs I’ve ever recorded\
, and there is a new energy here. After all I’ve been through\, I’m at one
of the most inspired places I’ve ever been.”
\n
That inspiration isn
’t limited to music\, though\, as Craig also shared his full stor
y for the first time. Co-authored with New York Times bestseller
Jim DeFelice (who also co-wrote Chris Kyle’s American Sniper)\, C
raig’s memoir GOD\, FAMILY\, COUNTRY: Soldier\, Singer\, Husband\, Dad
—There’s a Whole Lot More to Me reveals not only the roots of his cou
ntry career and serve as a testament to his familial dedication\, but also
much of the behind-the-scenes action fans never saw.
\n
A thrilling
ride from the start\, Craig opens up about his time as an elite military o
perator\, teaming with the CIA and more to parachute into the Central Amer
ican jungle\, bust up human trafficking rings in Thailand\, and even run a
cover operation in Iraq at the height of his career.
\n
“The thing i
s\, I’ve talked about little snippets of these stories throughout my life\
,” he says. “Some on the radio\, in interviews and different things. But I
have never put everything together\, and it wasn’t until then that I went
\, ‘Holy crap. I have done a lot.’”
\n
Meanwhile\, the inspiration ha
s also taken him to TV. In the CBS/Paramount + adventure reality series Beyond The Edge\, Craig returned to the Panamanian jungles to put t
he survival skills he learned in the Army to further use – the same ones h
e taught pilots training for a potential crash\, and now offers clients th
rough his Alaskan Off the Grid Experience.
\n
It’s true\, that house
Craig’s been building has now grown in ways he never expected\, but the fo
undation is still the same – and with his God\, Family\, Country
headlining tour\, folks could say that foundation is as strong as ever.
\n
Wrapping in Nashville on Veterans Day with his first ever headlining
show at the Ryman Auditorium – his hometown’s fabled “Mother Church of Co
untry Music” – the Grand Ole Opry member still shines in front of an audie
nce. He calls the sold-out show a mountaintop moment\, perhaps the pinnacl
e of his long career and life story … so far\, that is.
\n
“Proud isn
’t the right word as much as grateful\,” he says. “I just want to inspire
and motivate people to try to do good and be better for themselves and eve
ryone else involved.”
Fast-rising Country singer/songw
riter Jackson Dean is quickly earning a reputation for his old school\, gr
itty\, lyric-driven\, outlaw style of Country following a breakout year th
at landed him on Pandora’s Ten for 2023 (all genre)\, Spotify’s Hot Countr
y Artists to Watch 2023\, the CMT Listen Up class of 2023\, CRS New Faces
2023\, Amazon Music’s 2023 Breakthrough Artists to Watch: Country Class as
well as a slew of other artist to watch lists. Mature beyond his years\,
Jackson opted to move out to a cinderblock\, concrete floor\, one-room sha
ck on the back of his grandfather’s property with no heat and no plumbing
at just 18 years old. An adventurous and carefree spirit\, the 22-year-old
multi-instrumentalist\, is also an old soul and skilled artisan whose pas
times include making leather goods\, wood-burned art and disappearing into
the woods to sleep under the stars. Bringing that same sense of adventure
and down home vibe to his songwriting\, the “modern-day Country rambler”
(Taste of Country) burst on the scene\, showing people how real music can
be with his atmospheric\, musically-forward debut album Greenbroke (out no
w via Big Machine Records). The Maryland native’s single\, “Don’t Come Loo
kin’” was the fastest debut to reach No. 1 in 2022 and cemented Jackson as
the youngest solo male Country artist to reach the top of the charts with
a debut. Landing spots on the Billboard Hot 100\, the soundtrack for Netf
lix’s The Ice Road and a John Dutton scene in Yellowstone. His sophomore s
ingle\, “Fearless (The Echo)” is currently climbing the Country radio char
ts after being Most Added upon impact. Following an early career of local
performances in his hometown\, Jackson has joined bills with superstar act
s like Toby Keith\, Miranda Lambert\, Brantley Gilbert\, Kane Brown\, Jake
Owen\, Brooks & Dunn\, Lee Brice\, HARDY and Brothers Osborne and found h
imself on the bill for credible events like Austin City Limits and Stageco
ach. The young talent just kicked off the Back to the Honky Tonk Tour with
Blake Shelton and Carly Pearce and will join dates with Eric Church and P
arker McCollum later this year.
A salt of the earth Southerner with a straight-shooting swagger and kin
d smile\, Shane Profitt’s musical toolbox is full of all-natural talent. A
t the end of 2021\, he was still pulling overtime at his job with the city
\, busting his back about an hour south of Nashville and living for the we
ekend – with a few decades left to go. But now\, the 22-year-old is rockin
g sold-out crowds at the historic Ryman Auditorium\, touring with his char
t-topping hero Chris Janson and writing modern Country tunes so genuine\,
they slip on like a pair of broken-in work boots. Because no one has to te
ll this singer/songwriter what a blue-collar life is all about. Profitt’s
journey starts a few years ago\, when his grandad asked what he wanted for
Christmas and his wish was to learn how to play Hank Jr. songs on the gui
tar. Beginning with G\, C and D chords\, he stuck with it. Gifted with a h
eavy-duty vocal\, Profitt became a regular draw at the popular Southern-co
oking chain\, Puckett’s\, traveling all over Tennessee to weekend shows wh
ile still holding down his job back home. And while that made for some lon
g hours\, it also led to inspiration for original music. Today\, the emerg
ing artist debuts his boots-on-the-ground writing style and big\, barrel-c
hested voice with a 3-song collection MAURY COUNTY LINE\, available now vi
a BMLG Records/Harpeth 60 Records. With tracks like the hook filled honky
tonker “Better Off Fishin’\,” chest-thumping charmer “Guys Like Me” and hi
s hopeful heaven-on-earth Country radio single “How It Oughta Be\,” Profit
t puts his life to music – along with the lives of so many others. And thi
s is just the beginning.

Known for their distinct fam
ily harmony\, irresistible melodies\, and sure-fire radio favorites\, incl
uding Billboard’s Most Played Country Song of 2022\, “Take My Name\,” Parm
alee has not-so-quietly become one of the genre’s most undeniable contempo
rary country hitmakers.
\n
The group – comprised of brothers Matt Tho
mas (guitar/lead vocals) and Scott Thomas (drums)\, along with their cousi
n Barry Knox (bass) and life-long friend Josh McSwain (guitar) – has accum
ulated more than 1 billion on-demand streams and three No. 1 hits includin
g their breakthrough hit “Carolina\,” the Blanco Brown collaboration “Just
The Way” and “Take My Name.” Parmalee’s current single\, “Girl In Mine\,”
is a Top 10 hit and climbing. All but “Carolina” are on Parmalee’s new al
bum “For You 2\,” which\, at 18 songs deep\, is the deluxe version of the
band’s third studio project “For You\,” which was released in 2021.
\n<
p>With determination as strong as it was when they first started playing t
ogether and 18 songs ready to release to the world\, Parmalee is poised to
take the next steps in their sky-rocketing career. They have no regrets.<
/p>\n
“We just love to play\,” Josh said. “We love to tour. We love the
live connection. Our dream was just to play music for a living. Anything m
ore than that is a bonus.”
With the anthemic delivery of his current single\, “See You Next
Summer\,” and homegrown follow-up “Dirt Cheap\,” DIAMOND-selling superstar
Brian Kelley enters the next chapter of a record-breaking\, history-makin
g career. In the studio working on his full-length debut album with Big Ma
chine Records\, he first made waves with his passion project SUNSHINE
STATE OF MIND in 2021 (which American Songwriter called “som
e of the best modern country put to tape.”) With a sold-out run of shows a
nd back-to-back residencies at Tribe Kelley Surf Post in Grayton Beach\, F
L – owned by the Ormond Beach native and his wife Brittney – Kelley contin
ues to diversify his thriving enterprise with collaborations including cul
t-favorite brand Tribe Kelley with Brittney and a partnership with Oyster
City Brewing Company. Kelley is managed by Kevin Spellman and Jason Murray
of Vector Management. First known as the Florida half of the GRAMMY-nomin
ated Florida Georgia Line\, the ACM Breakout Artist of the Decade Awar
d recipients garnered 19 career No. 1s and became the first and only
act to achieve two RIAA DIAMOND singles in Country music history (14X PLAT
INUM No. 1s: “Cruise” and “Meant to Be” with Bebe Rexha). Surpassing 17 bi
llion global streams\, selling more than 40 million tracks and 4.8 million
albums worldwide\, plus playing to over 4 million fans\, FGL has been hon
ored by AMA\, Billboard\, CMA\, and CMT Music Awards\, as well as having a
Florida Georgia Line: Mix It Up Strong exhibit at Nashville’s Co
untry Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
“This is me\,” says Priscilla Block
. “Love it or leave it.”
\n
It’s that kind of attitude towards life\,
and her fearless music-making\, that has made the rising country star one
of the genre’s most exciting new artists and one of its most authentic an
d relatable voices. One part endless party\, one part unmitigated honesty\
, and one part best friend who always gives it to you straight\, even when
it hurts\, Priscilla’s debut album\, Welcome to the Block Party\, finds a
n artist who is redefining ‘three chords and the truth’ for an entirely ne
w generation.
\n
Welcome to the Block Party is this approach in album
form. From the songs like “Heels in Hand” and “Ever Since You Left” that
detail the many dynamics of a relationship from the crying to the kiss-off
s\, to “My Bar” that flips the genre’s gender roles\, to the album’s close
r “Peaked in High School\,” written as a victory lap for anyone who may no
t have been the homecoming king or queen.
\n
“I write about what I kn
ow\,” Priscilla says. “If that’s heartbreak or struggle or owning my flaws
and being unapologetically me.” Doing things her own way has paid off. Pe
gged as a 2021 Artist to Watch by Amazon Music\, PANDORA\, Spotify\, CMT\,
The Boot\, MusicRow\, HITS\, Sounds Like Nashville\, Country Now\, Music
Mayhem and more\, Priscilla’s streaming has topped 250million and rising.
With Welcome to the Block Party\, Priscilla rolls out the welcome mat even
further\, because she’s truly just getting started.
\n
“You get the
funny\, you get the sassy\, you get the trashy\, you get the sad\,” Prisci
lla says of Welcome to the Block Party. “You get everything that makes me\
, me.”
Sometimes you just follow your heart\, even when you’re not sure where it
’s taking you. For Michael Ray\
, who grew up going to – and playing at – the juke joints and hole in the
walls of Central Florida with his father and grandfather\, he didn’t reali
ze he was going not just in a circle but coming full circle until he’d fin
ished the tracking sessions for Dive Bars & Broken Hearts.
\n
Six songs\, recorded with multi-Platinu
m CMA Album of the Year producer Michael Knox\, Dive Bars & Broken Hearts traces a boy coming into his own\, chas
ing life and girls\, getting his heart broken and learning to man up\, car
ry on and evolve. Portraying coming of age for Ray – and so many young men
(and women) just like him\, it’s easy-going in places\, moody and dark in
others\; it’s almost a love song to being willing to face life as it come
s\, know there’s solace in the jukebox and a better day if you’re willing
to reach for it.
\n
“Life is sometimes
a lot simpler than we make it\,” says the dark-headed vocalist. “And we h
ave a lot more power to accept what doesn’t work and grow\, or to create t
he best possible life than we realize… And that’s where some of the best c
ountry songs come from. For me\, Dive Bars
em> is about all that\, without ever giving up or losing your sense of the
right thing to do.”
\n
“There are pie
ces of me in all these songs\,” Ray explains. “It’s how I grew up\, what I
learned\, how I became a man… and how I was raised to always try every da
y to be a better man. But even more importantly\, we didn’t shy away from
having to man up and not just react\, to recognize that you’re gonna make
some mistakes along the way. More importantly\, for me or anyone listening
\, there’s friendship and getting through even the tough stuff\; you hear
Meghan Patrick singing ‘Spirits & Demons’ with me\, that’s everything life and country music is: temptation\, mel
ody\, knowing better\, getting tougher and being real.
\n
“Setting this project up\, we’ve been in some dive bar
s\, the Grand Ole Opry\, playing some really big festivals. All I know is
everywhere we go\, people are responding to these songs like they do ‘Whis
key and Rain’ and ‘Think a Little Less.’ When you can do that with new son
gs\, that says something… But whether it’s just how good these songs feel\
, or the fact I’ve lived all of them and a lot of other people have been i
n the same situations\, the live crowds feel like they know what I’m singi
ng about!”
Birge (rhymes with “merge”) was scrolling through the TikTok accou
nt he had just created when he came across a star of the platform poking f
un at country music. Erynn Chambers\, known to her three-quarter of a mill
ion followers as Rynnstar\, joked that many country songs are just repetit
ious ditties about beer\, trucks\, and girls. To her credit\, she had a po
int\, but Birge was determined to prove to Rynnstar that in the right hand
s even the most mundane of phrases can inspire a great\, multi-layered son
g.
\n
With that in mind\, the Texas-born\, Nas
hville-based songwriter grabbed his guitar and wrote “Beer Beer\, Truck Tr
uck\,” an up-tempo sing-along that is about far more than those writing-ro
om tropes. It’s about missing the one you love and wooing them to come bac
k. “I know the city called you\, go baby spread your wings/I’ll be here wa
iting on you\, out here in the country\,” Birge sings.
\n
“The whole point was to say that\, yeah\, the cou
ntry lifestyle may not be as flashy or as fast-paced as the city\, but the
re’s more to it than meets the eye — and if you give me a chance\, I’ll sh
ow you how good it can be\,” Birge says. As the lyrics drive home\, it’s n
ot all “beer\, beer/truck\, truck/girls in them tight jeans.”
\n
“I’m not a guy that’s too cool for school.
I just want to tell a story in a fresh way\, like I heard on country radi
o growing up\,” Birge says. “And then sit down and have a beer with whoeve
r’s listening.”

Joe Nichols has been a mainstay of
country music for two decades\, bridging the gap between the genre’s old-
school roots and contemporary era. He’s a 21st century traditionalist — an
artist who’s both timely and timeless\, racking up a half-dozen Number 1
singles and ten Top 10 hits with a sound that honors his heroes. From his
first radio smash\, 2002’s “The Impossible\,” to 2021’s Home Run\,” Nichol
s has proudly done things his own way\, blurring the boundaries between co
untry music’s past and present along the way.
Just 23 years old and already a seasoned veteran of
Nashville’s elite songwriting community\, Conner Smith has emerged as one
of Country’s most hotly-anticipated artists – one knows the past can still
inspire the present\, and good things come to those who wait. An uncommon
talent mixing prime-of-life passion with old-soul perspective\, the risin
g singer/songwriter has spent 15 years matching a honeyed vocal to propuls
ive hints of bluegrass and the warmth of ‘90s Country\, an instant-classic
sound infused with riveting modern appeal. Moving Country forward while r
emembering its all-natural roots\, Smith’s long-anticipated full-length de
but album SMOKY MOUNTAINS (The Valory Music Co.)\, out now\, is meant to s
tand the test of time. Featuring GOLD-certified “Take It Slow\,” viral hit
“I Hate Alabama” and current Top-15-and-climbing single “Creek Will Rise\
,” his deeply personal 12-song project is one of classic style and contemp
orary spirit\, and a reflection of the artist himself. These songs\, among
others\, laid an artistic foundation that earned Smith Artist to Watch st
atus from Spotify\, Amazon Music and Opry NextStage\, while also making hi
m the only Country artist on Pandora’s Ten List 2022 and secured 2023 reco
gnition from MusicRow Next Big Thing and CMT Listen Up as well as joining
the CRS New Faces Class of 2024. Deemed “an unstoppable force to be reckon
ed with” by CMT\, Smith’s authentic storytelling and rich\, soulful voice
has resonated with audiences nationwide\, earning him a dedicated and pass
ionate following. Recently touring alongside some of Country’s biggest art
ists including Luke Bryan\, Cole Swindell\, Chase Rice and Jordan Davis\,
the “future entertainer of the year” (Morning Hangover) continues to put o
n his signature “high energy fan forward show” (All Country News) while he
adlining his CREEK WILL RISE TOUR through February 24 in the US before tra
veling across the pond for C2C Festival in March\, joining CMA’s Introduci
ng Nashville lineup for performances throughout the U.K. and Europe.
Proclaimed by Billb
oard as the “Next Hot Trend in Country Music” and likened to The Chicks fo
r a new generation\, Runaway June is comprised of Stevie Woodward (lead vo
cals/guitar/harmonica/piano)\, Natalie Stovall (vocals/fiddle/guitar)\, an
d Jennifer Wayne (vocals/guitar). The trio’s “inescapable talent” (AXS.com
) is multiplied by their seamlessly rich\, organic harmonies and fiery\, w
estern-rooted bluegrass sound. The “Next Women of Country” (CMT) have earn
ed praise from Billboard\, Rolling Stone Country\, The Huffington Post\, P
aste\, People and more. They’ve made numerous national TV appearances incl
uding TODAY\, GMA and CMA Country Christmas and have been nominated for AC
M Awards and CMT Awards.
\n
Due to their electrifying live show\, Run
away June has performed at Stagecoach\, C2C Country To Country\, and on so
me of the biggest tours in country music\, opening for superstars like Gar
th Brooks\, Luke Bryan\, Alan Jackson and Carrie Underwood. Honored as a c
oveted “New Face” at the 2020 Country Radio Seminar\, the BBR Music Group
/ Wheelhouse Records trio’s Top 5 single\, “Buy My Own Drinks” was the hig
hest charting song by a female group since The Chicks in 2003. Their debut
album Blue Roses (2019) received critical acclaim and was included on Rol
ling Stone’s and Paste Magazine’s best albums of the year lists. Most rece
ntly on tour with Luke Bryan’s 2021 Proud To Be Right Here Tour\, the awar
d-nominated trio’s bright\, rootsy new EP\, backstory\, is out now.

\n
It’s an insight the Arkansas native has long take
n to heart. In his case\, heroes and influences stretch from Johnny Cash a
nd Elvis Presley\, through Alanis Morissette and Oasis\, to Miranda Lamber
t and Jason Isbell. But through the endless one-nighters\, opening slots\,
and writers’ rooms that constitute paying dues\, he learned what true art
ists always learn—that the best tribute is not imitation but transformatio
n—finding the place inside that connects with those influences and turns t
hem into a unique and honest voice. He has learned that lesson well.
\n
“The music I make now is mine because I believe it and it’s true\,” he
says. “That’s what I can contribute\, and that’s how I see myself fitting
in. The currency of the realm is authenticity\, and I think there’s room f
or mine.”
\n
That’s something he proved with back-to-back #1s that pu
t him in the forefront of this era’s artist-songwriters\, and he proves it
again with One Of Us\, an EP that establishes him as an artist of real de
pth and vision.
\n
The breakthrough came with the 2X PLATINUM “Prayed
For You\,” the only debut single to top the Billboard Country Airplay cha
rt in 2019. The PLATINUM follow-up\, “Everywhere But On\,” made him one of
just a handful of new artists to hit the top twice in a row in six years.
In the process\, he racked up more than half a BILLION total global strea
ms across his catalog while surpassing 27 million views alone for the offi
cial music video for “Prayed For You.”
Since releasing his debut album\
, Born For This\, earlier this year\, Matthew has been busy selling out ve
nues across the nation on his headline ‘Born For This’ Tour\, recently mak
ing his hometown headline debut in Nashville to a SOLD-OUT crowd of more t
han 1\,600 fans. His single\, “She Loves Jesus\,” is out now\, and fans ca
n expect more new music from this Nashville riser in the coming months.
