Seating Availability: Seating is available on a first come, first served basis. While we will make every effort to accommodate your specific seating request, we cannot guarantee seating availability due to the large number of outlets selling tickets for Cultural Center events.
Discounts on ticket prices are available to some events that are part of the Scranton Cultural Center season by presenting at the box office your Lackawanna County Library Card, AAA Card, Scranton Cultural Center Membership Card or your business card if you are an employee of one of the Cultural Center’s media or event sponsors. Accessible Seating: Arrangements for accessible seating may be made through the Cultural Center Box Office only. Special seating needs must be made known to the Box Office at the time of purchase. Please see us in person at the Cultural Center Box Office or call 888-669-8966.
Payment: The Scranton Cultural Center Box Office accepts cash, checks (with ID), Scranton Cultural Center issued Gift Certificates, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. When ordering, your tickets will be held at Will Call for pick up the night of the event unless you instruct the Box Office to do otherwise. Tickets purchased via phone, internet, fax or mail may be subject to processing fees varying by show. All service fees are non-refundable. Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 service fee.
Reservations: Seats may only be reserved with full payment at the time of the order. Tickets cannot be reserved for payment at a later date, or with a credit card to be purchased with cash later. Entry to events is by ticket only. When picking up tickets from Will Call you must present proper identification and the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Children, regardless of age, must have a ticket for entry to an event (unless otherwise stated by Scranton Cultural Center Management).
NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES: Examine your tickets closely upon receipt. If there are any discrepancies, please contact the office, outlet, phone or online service from which you purchased the tickets immediately to remedy the problem. Any problems with your order must be handled at the point of purchase, the Cultural Center Box Office cannot make changes to your order unless you purchased directly from the Cultural Center Box Office.
Lost Tickets: Lost or misplaced tickets will only be duplicated for the person under whose name they were purchased. Proper ID, the credit card used, and proof of purchased will be required.
Donating Tickets: If you are unable to attend a performance presented exclusively by the Scranton Cultural Center, for which you have purchased tickets, you may return them to the Box Office at least 48 hours in advance of the published performance time to receive a tax deductable donation for the amount of the ticket face value. Inclement Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather, the show will go on as scheduled unless the performers are unable to attend. If the performance is unable to be rescheduled this is the only situation in which a performance will be cancelled and refunds issued. Refunds must be obtained from the point of purchase. Any service charges incurred at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

If you are using this number as emergency contact information please be sure you give your name, the name and time of performance you are seeing, the name your tickets were purchased under and seat locations.

House Information
Seating Policy
If you are uncomfortable or have any concerns, please contact an Usher or the House Manager immediately to address the matter. Late-comers will be seated at the discretion of the management. The late seating policy varies from show to show.
No Babes In Arms
It is the policy of the Scranton Cultural Center that all attendees must have a ticket for entry to an event. As a courtesy to our audience, very young children are not encouraged to attend, except for shows specifically for children or a show designated as family friendly. Children, when admitted with a ticket, must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. Persons disrupting a performance will be asked to leave (this includes, but is not limited to, coughing, crying, talking) until the disturbance has been corrected.
Cell Phones, PDAs, Pagers and Alarms
Please disable or turn-off all electronic devices that may generate audio or light upon entry to the theatre.
Accessible Seating
Special seating request must be made at the time of purchase. Please note that seating for individuals with special needs is handled on a first come, first served basis.
Restrooms
Restrooms are available on the lower level of the Cultural Center. Please use the stairs or elevator to go one floor below the main lobby. There are additional restrooms in the mezzanine lobby for those in the balcony or mezzanine seating.
Emergency Exits
For your safety, please take note of the location of marked emergency exits throughout the building. The exits indicated by the sign nearest your seat are the shortest routes to the street.
Audio/Video recording and photography
Cameras, audio and video recorders are prohibited from use at all performances. Cell phones, PDAs and other electronic devices should be disabled or turned off upon entry.
Smoking
The Scranton Cultural Center is a smoke free facility. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the building.
