* Listed on the National Registry of Historical Sites due to its significance in the areas of architecture, art, entertainment/recreation and social history

* The building was finished in 1930 and is approx. 180,000 square feet, with six stories above ground and three stories below.

* The building is five stories high at the south end and three stories in the north

*The building is so large that it can fit 3 of the White House

*Art Deco features are the low relief geometric sculpture on the small corner tower, the lettering panel, and the serpent like pattern of ornamentation above the entrance. The Dragon is lit at night

* The building was designed to incorporate public and private spaces, and is designed in three parts: the theatre, the ballroom and the Masonic Lodges.
